About Me
I’m Jules Buchanan - Your Celebrant by the Sea - a trained Independent Celebrant based in Northumberland (yes, by the sea…Newbiggin-by-the-Sea!)
Originally from the West Midlands, I moved up to the North-East in 2020 from Bedfordshire and I love it up here…my favourite things are beaches, brunches and brownies!
Following university I embarked on a successful 17 year career in logistics, working across operational, project and sales management roles.
I left corporate life in 2018 to become a yoga teacher, teaching a mix of yoga classes online, in studios and in local venues in my community, across Newcastle and Northumberland.
I love running my own business and feel so privileged to support people in finding a sense of calm.
I completed funeral celebrant training in January 2024 and will complete wedding and vow renewal celebrant training in May 2024. I am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants. See my bio here
